Project phase 2 Products

Base oils are categorized by quality of the oil. Group II base oils are more refined than Group I and offer better performance in regard to lubricating properties such as volatility, oxidative stability and flash/fire points. They also have better performance in areas such as pour point, cold crank viscosity and extreme pressure wear.

Group II is the primary base oil required for most automotive lubricants.

Egyoil will produce high-end Group II base oil, with greater than 99% saturate level, a viscosity index of 106-107, high oxidation stability, low evaporation, very low sulfur and extremely low aromatic content. Its base oil meets all standards for passenger car motor oil including the new ILSAC GF-5 and API CJ-4 diesel standards.
